latest challenge !

hi all , here is a card i made for a challenge over at paper play .http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/2011/03/11-week-9-shabby-chicvintage.html

i loved doing this challenge , i found the diamante brooch in my stash and that was the starting point for me , i instantly thought of treasure and that was it , i rooted out some paper i got at  
http://cardznscrapz.com/ a while back i tore it and inked it and then stitched it onto the base card i then attached the brooch to a flower i made and add some vintage buttons too then i inked up some silver chain with some tim h. alcohol inks and threaded it around the buttons the tiny feathers around the brooch are very faint and did not show up well in the  picture

sneak peek reveal 1

hi all , here is a frame i altered in my favourite theme ..vintage ..yummy vintage !
 the paper is one i have had lying aroung for ages it is pearlescent and has script written al over it it inked it scrumpled it and then decoupaged it to the frame in various torn pieces , i then aged it a bit more with distress ink , brushed corduroy . the rosette i made myself with plain card folded and inked , the flower centre is mine too some of the same paper as the frame but aged and distress more than the frame ( when i saw this result i was mad i ha not aged all teh paper this much it is fab ) i tacky glued the flower to the centre and spritzed the whole thing with glimmer mist walnut gold (gorgeous stuff ) the black "plaque" is black card spritzed as befoe and gem brads added . the wording is black ink on brown paper bag paper and topped with glossy accents mmmm glittery goodness .then it felt a little flat so i added the black velvet string to a channel around the inside frame and i think that just about finishes it .have been in vintage mode all week and have lots more to share but still having issues with my camera so hopefully will get it sorted over the weekend .

hi all , its been a busy couple of days and lots of crafting to share with you but unfortunately i have not had my camera to capture the shots to share with you all , i will be posting tomorrow hopefully and until then here is a sneak peek at one of my creations this week , its for my sister and i hope she loves it , had great fun altering it and may even do a how to on my next one ? so ,until later all
