Hiya , remember me ? Well things have been a bit up down and all over the place these last few weeks and I havent been crafting so much or blogging for that matter but here I am back at my craft desk with some projects to share , thanks for stopping by and remember happy crafting......... These Baby name blocks are one of my latest baby gifts , they are very popular which is a nice compliment x They are made out of recycled wood and some gorgeous papers too l , the letters are cut with my Silhouette

This butterfly card is a simple easel card with 2 folds , I think the butterfly which is my own creation , is why this card has been so popular , I have had some requests for these butterflies and I might even do a tutorial on them ??? , 

This frame was made for a challenge over on Cardz n Scrapz 

I love how this turned out , it was a valentines present for my husband and I wanted to make a frame for himand my son Ryan and they both love the news and cars so that is where i got the inspiration , i started of wiht newspaper decoupaged onto the 2 euro frame I distressed the newspaper with distress stains and then added some ripped masking tape to make a faux leather look all the embellies are covered in glossy accents and the Father and Son scroll was handmade too x Just looking for the perfect photo to go in the frame now x

Craft storage from pure Scrap !

hiya ladies , I know we all suffer from the same problem .....lack of crafty storage ! ( thats what you were thinking right ?) and the other thing is do i spend of craft supplies or craft storage ... yes supplies ..correct answer , well here is my solution , i collect other peoples crap and turn them into treasures .....most of the time x the photos dont actually show the real before shots but imagine this , a pile of scrap wood from my sisters kitchen renovation , i gave mark a rough idea of what i was looking for and here is what was waiting for me when i got home on day 1

ignore the crap paint work below the shelf , i had pulled down my magnetic sheets before mark got started now after some magnolia paint , some black left over wallpaper a scallop punch and some cup hook ....

now i will be very honest and tell you there is muccccchhhhhhh more on those shelves now but that doesnt make for a good photo tfl xmaggiex

Altered chocolate box and frame

Hiya ladies , I hope you are all keeping well x Here is a few of my projects I have been working on this past week x It was my Mams' birthday and I made her something myself rather than buying something and she absolutely loved it . Anyway here are the projects I worked on thanks so much for stopping by and if you leave a comment as always they are much appreciated and I always reply to them Here is the frame I made for my Mam I used 8x8 papermania papers , made my own leather TH tattered flowers , added some vintage buttons to the centres . The frames are my own too as are the banners .

Next thing i did was an altered box for my granddaughter Emilys' soothers/doddies from when she was a baby ( well she is all of 3 now !) I started off with an empty chocolate box which had a hindged lid so i went with a shadow box I first of all applied a pink paint then did a crackle effect with cram paint and pva when this was dry i applied some brushed corduroy distress inks all over i added some distresssed lace and beading to the frame i added some butterfiles from Gers little snippets some stick pins i made myself and a gorgeous handmade flower i got the tutorial here from fiona I love how it turned out and i will post a photo later when it is filled with dodies x

altered mirror frame

hi all , here is an altered mirror frame i altered the other week . it is an ikea mirror and i didn't bother to remove the mirror as it was so cheap to start with but secondly it had masses of glue at the back and then i would have had to replace the mirror with some sort of backing ? no no no too much work for me so i just covered the mirror with some cardboard and set to work it is covered in paper with modge podge and distressed first with distress ink in brushed cordoury and top coat of modge podge tehn the fun ... lots of little snippets

Hiya everyone , here is another keepsake frame I made recently , it is for that specialsomeone in your life and it holds 2 photos or or 1 photo and a poem or message .

It is painted mdf and modpodged with some paper , 2 handmade photo frames ( using my nesties and some project acetate ) anda handmade embellishment too . thanks for stopping by and have a great sunday
