From coffee to crafty storage !

Hi all , the sun is shining here in my little part of the world and doesnt it just make you smile when its like that x well I have been busy all morning organising my beads and buttons (I know how sad when the sun is shining !!!) and I have another addiction other than crafts and that is COFFEE well anyone that knows me that is not news ..loL.. any hoo ,I had lots or empty jars another addiction of mine , I can not throw jars away ! so I decided to get my stash out and pretty up some jars for all my odd beads and buttons . So I used some paper , ribbon , bling and some hand made flowers and this is what I came up with ....

some gorgeous ribbon and bling and a plain old coffee jar is transformed

another vies ...cute ehhh???

more ribbon and bling and flowers and hey presto !

well i love them and i will have great fun filling them up and even more fun emptying them again x
well i am heading down stairs to get me and hubby some lunch but i will be back later to link up to some great parties later

yay i got my camera back !!!

hi all i got my camera back working and i am able to share some of my makes from the weekend x iwill share my cards first and then come back with another post to show you some altered stuff , dont want to bog you down with too many photos in one post x so here is the first one and it is for a challenge over at

the challenge as always is clean and simple but this week it is masculine , clean and simple ...not as easy as you think but i stepped up and this is what i came up with

this is another one for less is more and the theme was off the page !

i really love its simplicity ...which is the whole point right ??? part of the card had to be stamped off the page and i just stamped one of my hearts off the page and i think it's cute x

the challenge is vintage with tearing, feathers and distressing omg this is sooo me and i had a ball making it x some vintage buttons, aged chain, old brooch some handmade flowers and feathers and i was there !

and the last one is for a friend whos birthday was last week and the card is still sitting on my desk ..oops i am such a bad friend (but her pressie is gorgeous )
here is the card some simple layering a scalloped sentiment and and a silk hand made flower with a button center ..cute !

altered frame and some linky parties

hi all , here is a frame i altered in my favourite theme ..vintage ..yummy vintage !
 the paper is one i have had lying aroung for ages it is pearlescent and has script written al over it it inked it scrumpled it and then decoupaged it to the frame in various torn pieces , i then aged it a bit more with distress ink , brushed corduroy . the rosette i made myself with plain card folded and inked , the flower centre is mine too some of the same paper as the frame but aged and distress more than the frame ( when i saw this result i was mad i ha not aged all teh paper this much it is fab ) i tacky glued the flower to the centre and spritzed the whole thing with glimmer mist walnut gold (gorgeous stuff ) the black "plaque" is black card spritzed as befoe and gem brads added . the wording is black ink on brown paper bag paper and topped with glossy accents mmmm glittery goodness .then it felt a little flat so i added the black velvet string to a channel around the inside frame and i think that just about finishes it .have been in vintage mode all week and have lots more to share x
