DIY configuration box x

Hiya ladies here is a configuration/curiosity  box I made myself yesterday .I used recycled cardboard boxes . I covered it in vintage music sheets  and then randomly added strips of home made washi tape with script on x

I have added lots of extra photos close up of all the goodies I put in the box  so here we go

here is a close up of the bottom layer x on the right a small vial filled with German glass beside a technique tag I mad x the tag has a home made flowere embellie and a little black butterfly from little snippets  behind the  tag is a strip of handmade paper which has an alcohol technique on it also x on the left is a little pole of pearls with handmade metal and fabric flowers , another technique card and all of this is lying ontop of a pole of lace x the shelf abouve the pearls has a tiny bead fairy ( which I love making )a cut of tim holtz bird and some chiepped cork and beads too x

top left , has one of my metal atc's from a previous post and I have done a youtube video on this technique too , beside it a dice ( me and my number ;)...) and an old charm from broken jewelry x right hand side is another technique tag sitting behind a fabric button x behind that is anther piece of alcohol on acetate , with a little clip on flower just sitting there x on the little shelf over this is a small mound of beads , some more of that amazing lace and a strip of bling x the corners are ones i made myself from flat filigree corners I  had and will be on sale in my etsy shop really soon x 

here is my name plate for the piece I called it Art of Mine as it is filled with tuff I have created or stuff I love to create with x it is made of card , UTEE ( you know I LOVE IT ) and the stand and the ends are more filigree brass ovals this time x

Cute as a button x

Hiya Ladies , now dont faint ...its me again!!! and with more buttons ;) this time I created a 12"x12" Lof my beautiful granddaughter Emily x She literally is " as cute as a button " and I  had not scrap booked in a while so with a little inspiration from Ger over at Little Snippets that arrived in the post , among other things ( to be shared later ) was a fabulous array of embroidery frames , onceI tore open the parcel ( literally ) I knew I had to use them and with buttons still lying around from the challenge over at By the cute and girly  the other day I knew what I wanted to do , frames , buttons and Emily .....Lay out !!!!
here is what I came up with

Emilys fav colours are pink and purple ...can you guess by this lol?
she loves flowers and butterflies , I call her my flower fairy x
I used... Bo Bunny glitter paper , jazmyne breeze
             Lace frame.... Littlesnippets
             Embroidered flowers..... Littlesnippets
             Butter flies my own decoupage creation x
             paper and card and buttons from my stash

Not your average buttons x

Hiya Ladies x Just thought I would share with you some chipboard buttons that I altered in a variety of ways x  I used alcohol inks , utee, inks , german glass , embossing powder , glitter and also some string and raffia too x
I am entering this into By the cute and girly where the theme this month is buttons , it is my second entry(see my first one here ) as I am on a bit of a button craze this week x  have  a peep BEFORE , some chipboard buttons and whats not in this shot 2 more 1/2" plain white buttons x

 and here are my creation , I just love mised media and altering anything and everything x the square button I used the german glass , ink , and embossing powder too
the small flower is stamped has stamped script and utee
the large round one is my favourite as it is very steampunk looking lots of ink , embossing powder ,german glass , metal bits and pieces and lots of utee too , yummy x
the 2 small buttons are simply inked up with alcohol inks and etc x some ribbon string and twine and I was done x

 THIS IS THE ARTY SHOT OUT ON THE PATIO ;) ;) ;) lol

Captured Fairy x

Hiya ladies , I am taking part in a one on one swap for captured fairies over on youtube x I have never done one before but was itching to try it out so I contacted a girl called Tracey from fairiecrafts who does really awesome creations and she said she would love to do a swap x This is the first one I have created I did a tiny one just to get my teeth into it and it turned out pretty good I think ? The second one I did was for the actual swap but I can t show you pics of that one yet as Tracey has not received it yet ..  so here are the photos of the finished mini captured fairy
