some new cards and blog candy !

hiya everyone ,here is a couple of cards for some crafty friends over on cardz and scrapz this one was for Aideen and i know she loves altered stuff , tim holtz and distressed look , so i went with this " vintage grundge llok for her

the backing paper is an old map image i had which i tore up and crumpled an inked the edges , i stuck it dowm and inked it agin , added embossing powder and glitter , the name scroll on the side is hand made too similar to the backing paper and the flower is handmade by me too x Aideen said she loved the card
the second card was for Mary

i got my cuttle bug out and embossed the backing card added the die cut flourishes , topper and some bling ( i love me some bling !)and some purple ribbon too . i love doing these cards for the birthday club it is great fun to make cards for other crafters
on a different note now , i just had to post about this cute blog i follow , liz and her bears are having their first birthday tomorrow and they have some great candy to give away , but apart from the candy ( which is awesome ) but her bears are toooo cute so head over and say hi and join in her monthly challenge too .

here is a cute boys wall plaque i altered .

i bought the blank plaque here

it was fun to alter with just a gradiant paint effect , some ribbon and embellies and a couple of lines from the poem " what a little boys made of "

wall plaques and more x

hiya all x well no blogging for months and here i am back for the second time this week !!! so what have i been up to ? well recently i finished up some atc for a swap over at cardz n scrapz where dianne
hosted for november and december , i was soooo busy in run up to christmas i totally forgot to post my november atc's and the december atc challenge was extended into mid jan. so i posted off both sets yesterday and actually remembered to take some pics before i did ...!!! so here is aphoto of them , the november theme was winter ( but not christmas) so i decided to look out my back garden for inspiration , leaves everywhere , frozen puddles , ice and the thoughts of snow to come and eh voila i had an atc ? what do you think ? my frozen pond looks like a puddle of ink ? lol any how they were fun to do x

this week i also had some orders for some childrens wall/ door plaques and a couple of my duo photo frames too so here they are

new year regular blogging ???

hiya everyone , HAPPY NEW YEAR  to you all x i hope 2012 brings you all your hearts desires and health happiness and lots of crafty goodness x   with  my small new business being such a success from september last i have been a very absent blogger x but i am determined to change that and blog more ! so here you are here is a small selection of crafts i have been up to lately x enjoy looking and as always your comments make me happy x

this elvis card above is part of a candle set i made for a customer whose sister is Elvis crazy and by all accounts the candle card set went down a treat x

this engagement set is one of our new designs and since making it it has been very popular with customers who then like to add the couples names and engagement date and some even add a photo x

this baby sympathy candle is a very strange one to be asked to do as it gives me great pleasure to design one for a breaved parent or couple and on the other hand it is very sad to do too, but the comments from the parents when they see their little baby on the candle with a little poem they tell us is very uplifing for them . i have ony included the poem at the back of this candle as i have not asked permission yet to use the fromt wiht the baby image on x
